VIENNA, March 28 - A student from Gmunden, 21-year old Anna Hammel, was crowned Miss Austria 2009 at a pageant held on Saturday, March 28th at the American Chance Casino in Kleinhaugsdorf. Lovely 18 Contestantscompleted at this event.
The Beauty Queen 1.70 m tall will represent her country at the Miss World 2009 contest next December in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Konstanze Heis 18 year old was name the 1st runner-up while the 2nd runner-up was a 22 year old Dejana Varadin. At this event Christine Reiler, Miss Austria 2007, and Marina Schneider, Miss Austria 2008 were amongst the judges.
