Miss Slovenia Earth 2009

Blond beauty Maja Jamnik will represent Slovenia at Miss Earth 2009 after being crowned as Miss Casino Kongo for Miss Earth. The Miss Earth Slovenia 2009 pageant was held on December 20, 2008 at Casino Kongo in Ljubljana - also the official sponsor of the contest.

Miss Slovenia Universe 2009

Mirela Korač (C) was crowned Miss Universe Slovenije 2009 during a pageant held on 9th May 2009. She will represent the country at Miss Universe 2009 beauty contest.

Miss Universe 2009, the 58th Miss Universe beauty pageant, will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau,Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Dayana Mendoza, from Venezuela, winner of Miss Universe 2008, will crown her successor in the event.

The first runner-up was Aida Muratovič (L) and the secound runner-up was Rebeka Pevec (R).
