Miss Panama World 2009

A reality TV show that lasted 9 weeks came to an end when Nadege Herrera (22), a professional model who holds a degree in Tourism and Marketing, was crowned Panama's representative to Miss World during the final show held at the Tihany Spectacular Circus tent in Panama City on May 15th.

The program was pre-taped for television in the middle of an epidemic scare due to the AH1N1 virus, which forced the cancellation of major massive events.

Herrera (photo, left), who stands 1.82 m tall, will represent Panama at the Miss World 2009 pageant in London and South Africa next December.

PANAMA CITY: Newly crown Miss Earth Panama 2009 and Miss International 2009 during the Bellezas Panamá beauty contest held on 17th June at the Centenario ballroom in the Vasco Núñez de Balboa Convention Center in Panama City.

A beautiful girl 21 year-old, Joyce Jacobi who is law student from David (Chiriquí) was crowned Miss International Panama 2009. The new queen Jacobi tall 1.73 m will represent Panama at 2009 International Beauty Contest.

While a graceful Geraldine Higuera, 2o year-old physical therapist from La Chorrera was crowned Miss Earth Panama 2009. Higuera stand 1.71 m will competitive in 2009 Miss Earth pageant.

Miss International 2009, the 49th Miss International pageant, will be held at the Venetian Macao Resort in Macau on November 7, 2009.

Miss Earth 2009, the 9th edition of Miss Earth beauty pageant, will be held between the 4th and 24th of October, 2009 in Manila, Philippines.

The remaining finalists were Silvia Castro and Stephanie Tom. Lovely 13 women candidates competed in the annual event, organized by Tania Hyman's Models and Talents.

Miss Panama Earth 2009

17 June 09 -- Belezas Panama crowned Geraldine Higuera as its first representative for Miss Earth on 17 June after acquiring the franchise of Miss Earth for Panama.

Geraldine, 20, has a Degree in Physiotherapy.

Belezas Panama formerly Tania Hyman's Models & Talents Agency celebrates its sixth year in the production of Beauty Pageants, Culture and Social Awareness. Its main goal is to promote peace, goodwill and harmonious relations between different countries in the world.

Miss Earth Beauty Pageant promotes environmental awareness which is one of the four major world competitions. Today it has become the third most important at international level, as each year more countries are registered to compete for a crown that has a special cause: the preservation of the earth.

The winner of this competition must be involved in international environmental projects. These projects are promoted during the contest. Participants also take part in tree planting ceremonies, activities for the environment and cultural immersion programs, tours and excursions to sites of interest.

Miss Earth 2009 will be held in the Philippines and currently scheduled on October 25. The schedule may change due to the grand coronation venue's availability.

PANAMA CITY: Realmente Bella - Señorita Panamá 2009 - Nadege Helena Herrera, a gorgeous professional model 22 year-old, was crowned Panama's representative to Miss World 2009 during the final reality TV show held at the Tihany Spectacular Circus tent in Panama City on 15th May 2009.

Herrera (L), who holds a degree in Tourism and Marketing, stands 1.82 m tall, will represent her country at the Miss World 2009 pageant.

Miss World 2009, the 59th Miss World beauty pageant will be held in Loundon and Johannesburg, South Africa, where Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia will crown her successor, Miss World 2008. About 120 contestants are expected to attend the event.

Also Diana Patricia Brocé (R), a glamour 22 year-old from Los Santos, was judged as the Miss Universe representative. A carnival queen, who 1.70 m and holds a degree in finances will compete at the Miss Universe 2009pageant

Miss Universe 2009, the 58th Miss Universe beauty pageant, will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau,Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Dayana Mendoza, from Venezuela, winner of Miss Universe 2008, will crown her successor in the event.
