Who will be Lebanon's Delegate to Miss Universe 2009, Rosarita or Martine?

Words have reached us that Miss Lebanon 2008, Rosarita Tawil, is no longer the representative of Lebanon to the Miss Universe 2009 pageant in Bahamas this coming August.

According to some fans, Rosarita Tawil somehow confirmed this with her interviews after the crowning of Miss Lebanon 2009 which was won by Martine Andraos. The new winner is said to be replacing Rosarita.

Rosarita is apparently so sad about this turn of events. She is sad for not able to represent her country to the Miss Universe where she believes she can penetrate the Top 15.

I love that attitude. The girl definitely has the winning attitude.

But sources also told us that Rosarita will still compete for 2009 and Martine will be sent in 2010. Now, everyone is confused. We will update you more about this in the coming days.

Miss Lebanon Universe 2009

Beirut, Lebanon - Miss Lebanon 2008 is Rosarita Tawil. She will represent Lebanon in Miss World 2008, and Miss Universe 2009.

Miss World 2008, the 58th Miss World beauty pageant, will be held on October 4, 2008, at the Ukraina National Palace in Kiev, Ukraine.

Miss Universe 2009, the 58th Miss Universe beauty pageant, will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, in Nassau,Bahamas on August 23, 2009. Dayana Mendoza, from Venezuela, winner of Miss Universe 2008, will crown her successor in the event.

Miss Lebanon World 2009

BEIRUT :- Newly crowned Miss Labanon 2009. A beautiful Martine Andraos, 18 year-old, was crowned Miss Lebanon 2009 during the pageant held in Adma, north of Beirut, Lebanon, late Friday June 26, 2009 with the participation of 16 candidates.

Crowd favorite, Marie-Ange Sebaaly was judged first runner-up. And Celine Hassoun was the second runner-up.

Martine Andraos will represent Lebanon at the 2009 Miss World contest and at the 2010 Miss Universe pageant next Summer. While Rosarita Tawil, Miss Lebanon2008 will compete in Miss Universe 2009 )

Miss World 2009, the 59th Miss World beauty pageant will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, where Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia will crown her successor, Miss World 2008. About 120 contestants are expected to attend the event.
