20 years model, Rayanne Fernanda de Morais representing the State of Minas Gerais was crowned Miss Brazil International.
Twenty-seven the most beautiful women from all over Brazil , were gathered in Sao Paulo for the glamorous event of the year, Miss Brazil Pageant 2009. The pageant was televised live nationwide with co-hosts of two former Miss Brazil titleholders
The night was glittery and the beauties competed on eco-friendly stage and showcased some beautiful gowns and two styles of swimsuits, a bikini type and a black one piece. The 13 distinguish judges picked Miss Minas Gerais, Rayanne Morais a mega crown favourite as the new Miss Brazil International 2009, who had already bagged home the best State Costume Award during an event held earlier. The beautiful and radiant model won cash and jewel and most importantly will carry the flag of Brazil competing for the 2009 Miss International Beauty Pageant to be staged in Japan later this year.
A pageant about improving climate, the 2009 Miss Brazil event adopted the theme of "The natural wealth of the country." Hence, elements typically national and golden grass, jute, lace and stones appeared throughout the event are eco-friendly. The soundtrack also contributed to the "Brazilian climate.”
