June 27, 2009. Nineteen year-old Avalon-Chanel Weyzig won the new edition of Miss Universe Nederland (Netherland) pageant organized by a Kim Kotter. She will represent the Netherlands at Miss Universe 2009 in the Bahamas. Stephanie Bos and Stevie Hartmann were the 1st and 2nd runners-up, respectively.
